Written feedback for one behavioral SOAR interview response. This service includes inline and summary written feedback for one SOAR (Situation-Obstacle-Action-Results) interview response, followed by a live video debrief.

  • Nick will score your interview response based on how it compares to other interview responses he’s evaluated as an Amazon Bar Raiser.

  • Nick will provide written inline and summary feedback on what you need to improve and what works well in your interview response.

  • After you review Nick’s feedback, we will have a follow-on live debrief by a video call to answer your questions about the feedback.

One-hour Verbal Mock Interview Preparation

A one-hour mock interview simulation where you give Nick your live verbal answers to Amazon’s six interview question/answer mental models:

  1. SOAR behavioral accomplishment,

  2. SOAR behavioral failure,

  3. Functional answer,

  4. Why Amazon,

  5. Tell me about yourself, and

  6. Questions for your interviewers.

You respond to each question for 5-6 minutes, followed by Nick’s assessment for 4-5 minutes. We then proceed to the next question/answer type.

  • You will respond to all possible versions of Amazon’s interview questions for 5-6 minutes each, followed by Nick’s assessment for 4-5 minutes.

  • Nick will provide real-time actionable feedback, for each of your interview responses, with what you need to improve and what works well.

    3) We will book a 1-hour Zoom video call for the live verbal interview preparation.

    4) During the session, you will respond to each Amazon interview question type, followed by Nick’s verbal assessment for 4-5 minutes. We will then proceed to the next question/answer type.

Mock Interview with an Amazon Bar Raiser

During the first hour of the 3-hour Mock Amazon Bar Raiser interview simulation, Nick will interview you with a simulation hat on, as if we've never met, so you can experience what it's like to be interviewed by an Amazon Bar Raiser. 

During the second hour, Nick will step away to write his behaviorally justified hire/no-hire feedback.

During the third hour, we will return to the Zoom room, where Nick will share his feedback and show you how the Bar Raiser guides the rest of the loop to decide whether you raise the Amazon bar.

Effectively, you will be a fly on the wall witnessing your hire/no-hire Amazon decision and its root-cause analysis.

  • Nick will interview with a simulation hat on, as if we’ve never met, so you could experience first-hand what it’s like to be interviewed by an Amazon Bar Raiser.

  • Nick will step away for an hour to write his behaviorally-justified hire/no-hire feedback based on your interview performance.

  • Nick will share with you his written feedback and show you have a Bar Raiser guides the rest of the Amazon interview loop to decide whether you raise the Amazon bar.

  • Nick will provide live feedback with actionable feedback on what areas to improve and what areas work well.
